Motorola has a new upcoming tablet–one that is possibly smaller and thinner than the Motorola XOOM. The photo of the device shows that it possibly has a 7-inch display and is running an unknown version of Android.
A photo of the new Motorola tablet was leaked to This Is My Next (TIMN) from an unknown source.

The tablet bears the Motorola wordmark on the upper left corner if the device is held upright. At the bottom are what appear to be interface ports, possibly microUSB and Micro HDMI.
The corners are slightly angled, which actually makes the tablet look like a bigger version of the Motorola Photon 4G.
Although the photo is blurry, TIMN notices what appears to be the Honeycomb camera app running on the device, so the device is most likely running Android. As to what specific version, or whether it’s running a development version of Android 2.4/4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, no one can say for certain just yet.
The photo also shows what seems to be an unknown Motorola smartphone on the upper right. TIMN notes that the smartphone could be the photographer’s own phone or another upcoming Motorola smartphone–possibly the Motorola DROID HD.
The 7-inch tablet could be the one that Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha hinted at last February at a technology conference. Jha told participants at the conference that the 7-inch form factor is “fun” and “portable.” He also promised participants that other Motorola tablets will come out by yearend.
Motorola released earlier this year its 10.1-inch Android tablet, the Motorola XOOM, which also debuted with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the version optimized for use on tablets and other similar “large screen” mobile devices.
The company was rumored last July to have been preparing another 10.1-inch successor to the Motorola XOOM but one with nearly twice (1280×800) the XOOM’s display resolution and an aspect ratio of 4:3. The rumored tablet is said to be optimized for Ice Cream Sandwich and has also been rumored to be one of the first–if not the first–to carry a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 Kal-El processor.
