Do you want to play your favorite Nintendo Wii games right on your Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet? Sounds impossible to mere mortals like me–but not to the likes of Obiwan222222, who has made it possible to play Wii games on his ASUS Eee Pad Transformer.

The setup involves a combination of the Splashtop Remote Desktop HD app, the Dolphin emulator, and a wireless Xbox 360 controller.
According to the modder himself, he has made Wii games playable on other platforms such as the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) and the iPod Touch some months ago. And now, his next victim is the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer with Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
It is all done with the help of the Splashtop Remote Desktop HD app. It is an Android app that lets you remotely connect and access your computer through network streaming via virtual network computing (VNC).
For the controls, he connected the Xbox 360 wireless controller to the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer keyboard dock.
He loaded up Super Mario Galaxy 2 on his Transformer using the opensource Dolphin emulator, and from thereon he was able to play the Wii game using the Xbox 360 wireless controller.
Although some lag is possible in the setup, Obiwan222222’s mod demonstrates that it’s possible to play Wii games on an Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet.
Obiwan222222 himself believes that gaming through network streaming might be the “future of gaming” on any device.
