Its runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but an update to Ice Cream Sandwich is expected. Also, Huawei has customized the appearance of the platform with different icons and animations, The camera on the smartphone's back is of 5 megapixels and is accompanied by an LED flash. It is nice seeing that the Huawei Ascend G300 comes with dual microphones for clear in-call audio
